First I'd like to mention I've had my console since launch and I've been able to play pretty much every top title on it, including Modern Warfare. I built a new computer earlier thus year and decided to play Dishonored 2 earlier this week. I cranked the settings to high and I was able to run at 60 fps just fine. Now I come back 3 days later and it runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now, what happened between these 3 days that just decided my computer can't handle it anymore? I also tried lowering as many settings as I can to get 60 fps
No. For a PS4 game to be 60fps on PS5 it either was already, have an unlocked framerate, or a new Patch. I see, that's a bummer. Tried out the 60FPS patch on the ps3 emulator and it made the game so much better. Don't see why they can't do the same with the official game.
I have definitely been spoiled by 60fps on PS5 the last year. I wanted to play Dishonored 2 2, which I had sunk a ton of time into on PS4 Pro. But it just feels absolutely brutal to play in 30 FPS. I thought I remembered that the 30fps had some motion blur or something that smooth it out, but it just feels awful.
Yikes! Dishonored 2 is one of those games where you cut through your enemies like through butter. The gameplay offers plenty of hiding spots where you can set up ambushes or just sneak past enemies. And god almighty, the gore - it’s quite most satisfying to run up to someone and elegantly deprive them of their heads.
